Deanna Short is a highly motivated Software Developer Intern with a passion for problem-solving. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a Scientific Concentration at Southeastern Louisiana University, with an expected graduation date in May 2024. Outside of her academic and professional endeavors, Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter Pham, and her two dogs, Koda and Rambler, as well as playing video games and listening to podcasts.

Joseph Bates, a dynamic and accomplished software developer, currently renders his expertise at Elevator3, a leading software development firm. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, providing him with a solid foundation to tackle complex computational challenges. Over his career, Joseph has emerged as a problem-solver par excellence, applying his knowledge and passion for technology and science to create innovative software solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Away from his professional life, Joseph possesses a diverse range of interests that keep him stimulated and balanced. A culinary enthusiast, he indulges in cooking as a way to unwind and experiment with different flavors. He’s also an avid exerciser, maintaining a regimen that keeps his mind and body in peak form. His fascination for watches and cars showcases his appreciation for intricate mechanisms and high performance, while his interest in space represents his endless curiosity and fascination for the vast unknown. Above all, Joseph is a self-improvement devotee, constantly exploring new avenues to enhance his personal and professional skills, embodying the spirit of perpetual learning.

In 2017, Brandon Cornett co-founded Elevator3 and became its CEO. Brandon brings many years of experience consulting with clients in various industries such as advertising, payment processing, marketing, construction, retail, and safety. He has worked at a variety of organizations ranging from startups to large enterprises. Early in his career, Brandon was part of a growing software consulting agency where he developed many technical skills such as infrastructure management, programming, and DevOps. As he continued through his career, Brandon also developed many other important skills such as business administration and project management.

Brandon graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, and he went on to earn his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)  at Louisiana State University. He holds many Scrum certifications and believes that clients should provide continuous feedback on products as they are being developed to ensure that product provides maximum business value to the client.

Brandon enjoys speaking at various software development and professional growth conferences, and regularly mentors students at Southeastern Louisiana University with hopes of helping others be successful in their careers, boosting the technical abilities of Louisiana communities as a whole. Outside of professional life, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, and 2 kids, Madison and Caleb.

Joe Sauls is results-driven Project Manager at Elevator3. Armed with a B.S. in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from LSU, he possesses a strong background in both technology and business, allowing him to effectively lead and coordinate projects that integrate innovative solutions into organizational operations. Joe’s dedication to excellence is further exemplified by his Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential, demonstrating his commitment to staying at the forefront of best practices and industry standards. As a U.S. Navy veteran with over six years of service, Joe cultivated essential leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills that continue to underpin his professional approach, fostering collaborative environments and driving positive outcomes for both clients and the company alike.

Meet Brandon Barr, a promising Computer Science student at Southeastern Louisiana University, set to graduate in 2024. Having been with the company as a Software Developer intern since Fall 2022, Brandon’s passion for technology and innovation shines through in his work. Beyond coding, he finds joy in strategic games like chess and Valorant, while cherishing quality time with his two adorable cats, Maya and Miley. Nathan Arant is the Chief Operating Officer at Elevator3. In his role as COO, Nathan focuses on operational excellence, client relations, sales, marketing, and administration/HR.

With over 15 years of experience, Nathan has a proven track record of driving productivity and expanding market reach through custom and product-driven solutions. He has a strong background in sales, customer satisfaction, team management, and budgeting. Nathan is a seasoned C-Suite leader who can communicate with and understand the needs of executive-level stakeholders. As a digital marketing expert, Nathan understands the importance of ongoing communication in building a successful digital presence. His marketing strategies seamlessly integrate with an organization’s business development and operations, with a focus on identifying and addressing technical and cultural issues.

Nathan is passionate about driving growth for companies by identifying and addressing pain points in their operations. He encourages regular evaluations of growth strategies through quarterly business reviews. Nathan has experience developing and implementing marketing plans, product roadmaps, and growth plans that align with overall business strategy.

Chelsea Smith is a dynamic Information Technology professional with a career spanning over 15 years. As a Project Manager at Elevator3 and an esteemed member of Leadership Baton Rouge, class of 2021, Chelsea exemplifies commitment to her field and community.

Chelsea is armed with a Business degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credential, and several industry certifications including CompTIA IC3, MOS, and A+. Her extensive expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, underscores her accomplished career in project management. Prior to her current role, Chelsea spent eight years imparting her knowledge as a post-secondary educator in Information Technology. This experience, coupled with her technical skills, positions her uniquely to bridge gaps between developers, stakeholders, and Scrum Masters, leading IT initiatives and Scrum teams through comprehensive project life cycles. Notable milestones in her career include her role as the technical lead for Skills USA, where her guidance led Louisiana to their first Gold medal in Customer Service through Northshore Technical Community College. Another significant achievement was her leadership in developing an iOS mobile and web app for real-time work progress tracking, a project that demanded careful integration, data mapping, and leading implementation efforts. Her team’s innovative work earned the 2022 Excellence Award from The Rice Global Engineering & Construction Forum. Chelsea’s entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her founding of Outdoor Experience 19, a successful venture born during the Covid-19 pandemic that offers unique outdoor movie experiences. Lennart Maebe is a software developer at Elevator3. While previously working in supply chain and logistics, he delivered innovative technological solutions for a leading international 3PL in petrochemicals. With a Bachelor’s in Information Technology and Communication, dual Master’s degrees in Accounting & Finance and General Management, and PMP certification, Lennart brings a unique skill set to the team and Elevator3 client projects. Outside of work he enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, family, and pets, working on home improvement projects, learning new skills, and building tech for his own business specialized in supporting supply chain and logistics operations.

Paige Smith is a dedicated Project Coordinator at Elevator3, hailing from Sacramento, California. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT Management at Western Governors University, Paige brings a unique blend of skills to her role, with a strong background in IT security and management. Beyond her professional pursuits, Paige is a loving mother and an avid enthusiast of art, music, comic books, travel, and animal welfare. Her true passion lies in leadership and education, driving her commitment to excel in her career and inspire those around her with her unwavering dedication to personal growth and development.

Logan Klier is a Software Developer at Elevator3, adept in .Net, React, and the Microsoft Power Platform. His role entails designing custom software solutions that help businesses streamline their processes and scale efficiently. Logan, an alumnus of Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology, brings a sense of curiosity and passion to his role. Outside of work, Logan enjoys fishing and exploring diverse varieties of food and beer, further reflecting his interest in novelty and discovery. Luke Snyder is a skilled Software Developer with a Computer Science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. He started his career at Vinformatix, honing his full-stack development skills and later brought his expertise to Elevator3. He has contributed to projects like the ‘Go Driven’ iOS app and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries web application. Known for his involvement in Agile methodologies and dedication to code reviews, Luke’s problem-solving ability and commitment to quality set him apart in the software development industry. Outside of work he enjoys working with technology at a deeper level. He has delved into Arduino and Raspberry Pi, combining the digital and physical world in innovative ways. He’s also into 3D printing, crafting his own unique designs from scratch.

Will Richardson is a Senior Account Executive at Elevator3. Will serves as both a player and coach within the E3 team, driving sales operations and fostering successful partnerships with prospects and clients throughout the entire sales process.

Will has worked with a diverse range of companies, from bootstrapped startups to established Fortune 500 giants. He has a track record of playing pivotal roles in elevating sales processes and delivering exceptional year-over-year growth for organizations. Will has a well rounded understanding of current and emerging technologies which enable him to engage in insightful discussions and provide tailored solutions to our valued clients.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Will finds joy in hitting the golf course, staying active, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Melissa Cornett serves as the Office Manager for Elevator3. Her role includes tasks in office administration, human resources, organizational development, and event management. With a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston, as well as a Certified Professional Coach certificate, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in people operations to her role. Her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to fostering a healthy work environment contribute to the overall success of the company. Melissa’s passion for helping others empowers Elevator3 employees to thrive both personally and professionally. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys practicing and teaching yoga. She shares her passion with her coworkers by offering the occasional private group class.

Stephen Legnon has been an intern software developer with Elevator3 since April 2023. Currently studying at Southeastern Louisiana University, he’s set to graduate in 2025 with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. Alongside his academic pursuits, Stephen pole vaults for Southeastern’s track and field team, showcasing his dedication and versatility in both tech and athletics.

Timothy “Ramsey” McReynolds is a Software Developer at Elevator3. Ramsey made significant strides in his undergraduate academic career. While at Southeastern Louisiana University, he obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science with a minor in Information Technology and a minor in Mathematics. He is the SELU 2023 spring semester champ of Calculus Jeopardy. Ramsey loves adding new skills to his ever growing list of skill sets. He is currently learning Spanish as a second language and has a 380 day streak on Duolingo.
