Software Developer

Elevator3 is seeking a Software Developer to join our growing team based in Baton Rouge and Hammond, Louisiana.

We are a software consulting firm specializing in developing custom web and mobile applications for our clients in various industries. We're looking for someone that's passionate about creating meaningful software. This developer will work with other team members to provide innovative, tailored solutions written primarily with .NET and React. The developer will also be responsible for mentoring other developers on the team and helping to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Produce clean, quality code based on project specifications
  • Participate in peer code reviews for all production code
  • Verify and deploy code using continuous integration platforms
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with other team members
  • Provide and receive mentoring and training with other team members
  • Contribute to the development team's continuous learning ideology
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade production code
  • Gather and constructively evaluate client feedback
  • Analyze and estimate development efforts

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Proficiency with .NET Core (C#), React using TypeScript, and Microsoft SQL
  • Proficient in creating and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Working knowledge of common design patterns
  • Experience with continuous integration platforms (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Experience using Git

Bonus Experience

  • Previous work in a consulting environment
  • Mobile app development with React Native or Xamarin
  • Working in a Scrum environment
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions like AWS or Azure
  • Building responsive websites
  • Infrastructure management, monitoring, and logging
